WE HAVE MOVED IN

It has been a while since I haven´t updated my blog. Though quite a lot of things have happened and that´s the reason. In fact I have been busy to get new house ready while preparing moving from old house at the same time. In evenings I didn´t have any more time to update my blog. But yes, IT`S DONE ! We have moved into our new house 7^th of April. MANY THANKS to all our friends who came to help with moving. All the finishing’s are not ready yet and there is still quite many little details to do but it´s already few weeks we are living here. And I can say that we are HAPPY !

Snowy landscape from building site

The ground has covered by snow and the view was almost like in Finland. The interior works proceed and main distribution board has assembled… But we have still no power. I started to assemble floor boards to upstairs.

Surface of cast on floor

This morning has done the surface of cast on the floors. The drying is slow during the winter season, so we have to wait 5-6 weeks before tiling work.

Underfloor heating has installed

A little holiday break because the Christmas is over. The plumber and the electrician has continued their work. The gas fire and underfloor heating has installed. The water is running but electric not.

Roofing tiles

The roofing tiles has installen and log house has covered in weather-protected. This comes at a good moment because the weather forecast does not bode well for the next few days the weather...

The roof is ready

Here is the photo the Day. The roof installation is progressing well. The electrician also has started, and Saur (water utility) is digging a plot of land at the entrance, so enough people on site.

The log frame of the installation is finished and the roof structure began.

Construction site meeting

It is time to keep the construction site meeting. No negative comments! Except this week we have lost two working days: Monday due to bad weather, and Tuesday was a public holiday.
